It’s always Happy Hour somewhere, and that somewhere will soon be 24 Sussex Dr., now that U.S. President Barack Obama has made good on his Olympic hockey-related bet with Prime Minister Stephen Harper.
The leaders actually made two bets: on the women’s hockey final and the men’s semi-final, both of which had their two countries going head-to-head. Cases of beer were on the line.
The Canadian women won Olympic gold in a stunning overtime comeback win, and the next day Canada crushed the U.S. in the men’s semi-final.
